Layne Sanders grew up in Greensburg, IN on a 4th generation small cow-calf operation. She was involved in showing cattle during her 4-H career at the national level and had always been interested in a career in food animal medicine. Layne attended Purdue University and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in animal science. She continued to pursue her dreams of becoming a veterinarian and graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 2022.
Following graduation, Layne spent a year traveling with a bovine reproductive company focused on advanced reproductive technologies including embryo transfer and IVF. Dr. Sanders is looking forward to working with clients to advance their genetics and improve their cattle herds through advanced reproductive technologies as well as herd health management.
Outside of work, Layne enjoys traveling, attending cattle shows, watching Purdue sports and spending time with her family, friends, and Australian Shepherds.
