Jarred Kopkey grew up on a veal farm in North Central Indiana. He has always been around calves one way or another.
After school, he spent 12 years buying and selling day old calves over a 12-state area. Jarred spent several years as the operations manager at a large calf ranch in northeastern Wisconsin.
As a production consultant for Four Star Veterinary Service, Jarred uses his extensive boots-on-the-ground experience to show cattle clients the importance of taking care of the basics to achieve successful and profitable operations. He feels there are no secrets when it comes to raising healthy cattle, it’s about doing all the basics day in and day out. The small things matter!
Jarred Kopkey resides in Luxemburg, Wisconsin, with his wife Cate and four children, Skyler 14, Jay 13, Harper 8, and Piper 6.
