Cary Sexton grew up in Mississippi on a cattle farm. He learned about swine by showing pigs in 4-H and working on a hog farm in high school. He went to Mississippi State University where he received his undergraduate degree in animal science and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.
Right after veterinary school, he moved to North Carolina and went to work for Dr. Jones. He has been with Livestock Veterinary Services, PLLC, since 2003 and is focused on swine. Recently he became a partner with Dr. Jones in the clinic.
Cary is a member of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Swine Veterinarians and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He has three children; his hobbies include travel and gardening.
