Laura Carroll grew up in York County, Pennsylvania, and completed her bachelor’s degree in exercise science at High Point University in High Point, North Carolina.
Prior to veterinary school, Laura completed an internship at Dr. Pierdon’s practice and discovered a passion for swine medicine and production. As a result, she focused her veterinary education on swine and spent extensive time working with production systems in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Brazil. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University in 2016.
Laura joined Lancaster Swine Health Services, P.C., after graduation and currently resides in Lancaster County. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, running and spending time with her family.
