JoAnna Hay, DVM

JoAnna Hay always wanted to be a veterinarian while growing up on a dairy farm near Bangor, Michigan. Because her mother worked in a hog-confinement unit, she was also familiar with swine. And she knew Dr. Kober who encouraged her to become a veterinarian.

JoAnna did make the decision to go to veterinary school and entered Michigan State University where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. After graduation, she spent 2 years in South Dakota doing beef veterinary care and then moved back to Michigan to continue veterinary work.

In 2018, JoAnna came to work for Dr. Kober at Swine Veterinary Services of Michigan, L.L.C., and is handling swine and ruminant clients. She has two young daughters.
