Anthony Holowka grew up in Middletown, Delaware and completed his bachelor’s degree in animal science/pre-veterinary medicine at the University of Delaware. Anthony always had an interest in agriculture with being involved in 4-H and showing sheep. He looks forward to providing support to his local 4-H group in the future.
Before entering veterinary school, Anthony completed an internship at University of Pennsylvania’s Swine Research and Teaching center which introduced him to the swine industry. This experience increased his interest in swine medicine, and he continued to pursue this career while in veterinary school. He then focused his summers on swine and large animal medicine with rotations throughout clinical year before graduating Lincoln Memorial University in 2022.
Anthony currently is an associate veterinarian at Lancaster Swine Health Services, P.C , working primarily with commercial swine but also sees a wide variety of large animal species. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, outdoor activities, and playing various instruments.
